Supporting Our Community

Real Estate Education isn’t the only thing
we’re incredibly passionate about.

We value philanthropy and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on those around us. Since opening our doors in 2013, we’ve been fortunate to give back to the following organizations in valuable ways. This is all made possible thanks to the generous support of our students, trainers, and administration.

Bessie Pregerson Child Development Center

The Bessie & David Pregerson Child Development Center is a state-licensed, year-round, full day preschool program emphasizing state-of-the-art early childhood development practice and instruction. Special attention is paid to helping non-English speaking children acquire new language skills. The Center provides day care facilities for 70 children aged 15 months to 5 years and is free for residents of The Westwood Transitional Village. The majority of the children in attendance are also residents of The Westwood Transitional Village, however, toddlers and preschoolers from the local community may also enroll, provided space is available.

The focus of the Center is to prepare the children for successful entry into kindergarten and ongoing achievement in later school years. Their childcare staff provides an excellent curriculum designed to meet the individual, physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and linguistic needs of each child while enhancing self-esteem, life skills, and the ability to recapture the joys of play.

Genesis Dream Foundation

Genesis Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Southern California. The Foundation raises awareness and funds to support neglected children in Tijuana, Mexico. Tijuana, which is less than 20 miles south of downtown San Diego, California, is home to a shockingly large number of orphaned and homeless children. These children are at risk for violence and exploitation. Even the children who are in orphanages are typically underserved due to insufficient funds and resources.

Chase Milner, CEO of CA Realty Training, has spent a great deal of time working closely with the Foundation and visiting local orphanages in Tijuana. He believes in the vision of Genesis Dream Foundation - to build and support local orphanages throughout the Tijuana community.

Saint Annes Elementary School

Founded in 1908 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, Saint Annes Elementary School (SAS) was focused on providing a quality education option for the then largely migrant farm-workers in the community. Saint Annes maintains its commitment to founding Sisters’ policy of exercising a preferential option for the poor. While proud of its rich Latino heritage, SAS is a community welcoming people of all backgrounds. Migrant farmer-workers from Mexico worked side by side with those from Oklahoma and the Southern states as their children studied together in the school. SAS’s nurturing family environment and strong sense of community is evident by the many second, third, and even fourth generation families who entrust SAS to deliver a quality education to their children.

Robert Rico, CED of CA Realty Training, has a very special connection with Saint Annes Elementary School. His grandmother was one of the very first students that attended the School when it opened in 1908. He is honored to be able to support such an amazing school with such a deep history of supporting the community.

Westwood Transitional Village

The Westwood Transitional Village is a 40-unit residential housing facility that provides support services for homeless families. Families can spend up to two years at the Westwood Transitional Village while they stabilize and acquire the skills needed for independent living. Approximately 150 individuals live in the Village at a time with families of veterans making up forty percent of the residential population, and children accounting for two thirds of the total population.

Carolee Rico, COO of CA Realty Training, has worked closely with the Bessie Pregerson Child Development Center and the Westwood Transitional Village for many years. She believes in their work to help families, who live in shelters, become stable members of the community.
