CA Realty Training will not send your application to the Department of Real Estate (DRE) on your behalf. You must fill out your own application and submit it to the DRE online or via mail. We do, however, provide an application tutorial to help you understand the process and what is needed to apply for the state exam! If you are a current student, this video along with a powerpoint presentation is located in your student portal under the "State Exam" tab.
A real estate BROKER is an independent agent who has the capability of brokering a real estate deal independently. A real estate sales agent or associate MUST work under a licensed broker/brokerage. For more information, check out each of our blog posts dedicated to Real Estate Brokers:
CA Realty Training is a separate company from Keller Williams Realty. However, we do have a partnership with KW. Due to our partnership, we can assist with job placement after you pass the state exam. If interested, we can help you set up an interview with a KW brokerage of your choice. https://www.carealtytraining.com/real-estate-career-choosing-a-brokerage/
You have six months from your purchase date to complete your online coursework. If you have not completed the courses by the six month mark, you can purchase an extension for $25 per course. This will let you pick up right where you left off. Keep in mind, the DRE requires you to complete your courses within 1 year. After this time, you will need to re-enroll for an additional fee. Re-enrolling will not save previous progress.
Yes! You can purchase a six-month extension $25 per course. This can be done directly through your student portal under the "Courses" tab or by giving our admissions department a call at (310)-844-0840 Mon - Fri, 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
To protect the integrity of our testing, you can not view the answers to your course final exams. You can, however, view the answers to your chapter quizzes once you pass each quiz with a 60% or higher. You can view your previous quiz attempts by going to the "Resources" tab in your Student Portal. From there you will select the "Exam/Quiz Logs" category. This can be a great study stool as you can take note of the correct answers as well as wrong answers.
Unfortunately, California does not have a reciprocity agreement with any other state. https://www.carealtytraining.com/real-estate-license-requirements-california/
