WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT MADE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN REAL ESTATE?

“I was door knocking, cold-calling and interacted with many people so they could get to know me and see that I was a friendly and down-to-earth person.”

HOW DID YOU PORTRAY YOURSELF TO THE PUBLIC?

 

“Whatever activity I did, I always made sure to have a positive attitude and had the mentality that I was going to get a phone number. I was networking with people.”

DO YOU THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE LIKED IN THIS BUSINESS?

 

“Yes, it is a people-person business.”

HOW DID YOU GO FROM NOT BEING A PEOPLE PERSON TO BECOMING ONE?

 

“I’m not very confident interacting, and I find it challenging with people I don’t know very well. I just went out there with the mindset that I was going to get three numbers and three names, and smile, smile, smile, smile and I assured myself that it’s okay if they say no.”

WAS THIS CAREER WELL WORTH ALL THE WORK YOU PUT INTO IT?

 

“It has been, it has been taking care of everything I wanted to take care of.”

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE TALKING TO STRANGERS?

 

“I think it’s all in our approach and our mindset, if we go out there being positive and having a good attitude, then these clients will pick it up and do the same.”
