How It Works

1. Meet the Basic Requirements
To earn your California broker license, you must have an active California salesperson license and at least two years of full-time experience as a real estate agent within the past five years. If you hold a real estate license in another state, call us at (310) 844-0840 to explore your broker license reciprocity options.

2. Enroll in our Online Broker Courses
Get started with our California broker license package by joining our online program.

3. Complete 5 Required Broker Courses
Our real estate school makes it easy for you to obtain your printable course certificates within 90 days. Why 90 days? You must wait 18 days per course before taking a course final exam (18 days x 5 courses = 90 day minimum).

4. Apply for Your License & Pass the Real Estate Broker Exam
Submit your application packet to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE). Our team supports you with a detailed checklist to make sure your broker license application is complete and ready to go.

What to Expect

If you received your salesperson license here in California, then you must complete only 5* of the DRE-approved online real estate broker courses below. Keep in mind these 5 courses must be different from the 3 courses you completed to obtain your salesperson license. Each broker's course includes mandatory chapter quizzes and two attempts at a final exam.

*LICENSED OUT OF STATE: In California, you are required to complete 8* DRE-approved pre-licensing courses and receive 2 years of experience as an agent before you can apply for the state exam and your Broker License.
